May 17 2008, 1:26 AM EDT I really do not like Vivian. Seriously trying to be as good as Steve Clark. He just makes the band look bad. We should just clone Phil and replace Vivian lol Do you find this valuable? |

BUT the man is dead, the other guys chose Viv to fill in the void and i must say the boys chose well cause he's doing a fab job. Have you ever heard any old Vivian stuff? Any of his work from Clock or even his Solo Stuff? I love Vivian, and he is a really nice person on top of being an awesome guitar player ,and im proud to have met the man ,and to have seen him play. Do you find this valuable? |

Jun 12 2008, 5:13 PM EDT I think Vivian gets a lot of unecessary crap from people just because he is the guitarist that the band asked to play with them since Steve died. Is Vivian Steve? NO. But he is a great musician and a really nice person. He's doing good with the band and helping them a lot. If it wasn't for him, DL might not be making the music still. So Vivian is cool in my book. :D Do you find this valuable? |

Jun 16 2008, 12:15 AM EDT yanno. I'd have to agree. Vivian does get a lot of crap. Although, the only reason, I realized, that I personally wasn't a huge fan was because he just wasn't Steve. He just cannot replace anything about Steve. And I also realized, that if you really pay close attention, listen closley to new Def Leppard albums, and watch them perform, there is still this aura about them, that proves to all of us true fans, that Steve isn't really gone. He's there, because I see him there. I see him on stage, right next to Phil, Sav, and the rest of the Lepps. He's there, you just have to watch and listen closley. Steve never will be truly gone. He's there, around, watching over the Lepps. Just as he was meant to. He was meant to grace us with his talent, music, and of course that smile! But he was also meant to help watch out for his loved ones. And the Lepps are it. He's gone, but never forgotten, and missed, but never far away. Steve will never leave us. If you look carefully, and listen, you can hear him, you can see him, rocking out on a Gibson Les Paul. I see Steve every day I'm alive. But, yanno, Vivian may never be Steve, but he's good at trying to help the Lepps recover. He's helping them stay on top where they belong. So, don't give him crap he doesn't deserve. He's a great guitarist. And, plus, he played with Whitesnake. You can't hate guys that rocked with the best!! way to go viv! :D Do you find this valuable? |

I totally agree Steve is still with them every step they take watching over them and rocking out with them. I miss him a lot. Vivian is a very good guitarist and I think he does so well with the band but Steve will always be the best :) Do you find this valuable? |
