| DEF LEPPARD members Joe Elliott and Phil Collen appeared on WAGA-TV Channel 5 in Atlanta, GA mid-April to talk about their summer tour. Following on the heels of their massively successful 2006 concert tour, DEF LEPPARD recently announced a mega summer concert tour that is set to hit all corners of the United States, as well as Canada. This year's outing will include 50 dates, kicking off on June 27 in Cincinnati and culminating on September 30 in Edmonton. STYX and FOREIGNER are scheduled to appear on select dates. 2006 was a watershed year for DEF LEPPARD with the group's summer concert tour becoming a must-see phenomenon. It was extended three times due to overwhelming demand for tickets from concert-goers and quickly became one of the year's most successful live music events. 2006 also included a gold record for 'Rock Of Ages: The Definitive Collection', marking the group's 10th album certification, as well as two critically acclaim album releases; an exclusive limited edition version of the group's classic 'Hysteria' album and 'Yeah!', a tribute to the band's musical heroes, that received raves from Entertainment Weekly, Rolling Stone and USA Today and featured the group's now definitive cover of 'Rock On'. DEEP PURPLE has cancelled its previously announced appearance at the Moondance Jam festival, set to take place July 11-14 in Walker, MN. According to a posting on the event's web site, DEEP PURPLE originally confirmed their participation in the event based on the fact they would be participating in a Canadian tour with DEF LEPPARD. The tour package did not materialize and DEEP PURPLE has now pulled out of the festival

This just in: the second date for Def Leppard's 2007 tour! On July 11, the band will headline the first day of the 4-day Moondance Jam classic rock festival festival in Walker, MN.

TWO DEF LEPPARD ALBUMS IN "DEFINITIVE 200" (posted 03.07)
Earlier this week, the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame published the Definitive 200 -- "a list of 200 ranked albums that every music lover should own". Of course the list contains obvious monster classics such as The Beatles' "SGT. PEPPER'S LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND", Pink Floyd's "DARK SIDE OF THE MOON" and The Eagles' "HOTEL CALIFORNIA", to name but a few, but who would've thought that not just one, but two Def Leppard albums made the cut?
Yet, both "PYROMANIA" and "HYSTERIA" ended up in the list at 86 and 36, resp. -- some well-deserved recognition from the industry! For the full list, visit http://www.definitive200.com.

Love this site! Still trying to figure out how to do alot of the stuff, but cool none the less. No very computer smart. Only 70% done with orientation. Not sure how to edit and stuff and how to do things. Help would be greatly appreciated if anyone is willing. Thanks. Love, Lynn:) ps: Hi Laurie!!

Steve was such a powerful spirit. Everytime I hear a song he plays on I can picture him playing his heart out. With every note, every song he was in his element. He had a talent that out lives him today. With every new guitarist that comes along you know Steve is somewhere in the back of his mind with his force making that guitarist the best he will be.
